    • Distinguish between different types of optical fibers, emitters, receivers and joints
    • Dimension an optical channel
    • Use optical fiber test equipment.

    • Description and use of the fiber stripping machine and pliers
    • Preparation of the cable for fusing two fibers
    • OTDR description and working principle
    • Execution of measures (mitigations, lengths and losses) with OTDS
    • Fiber termination with ST, SC and FC 3m system plugs
    • Execution of a joint
    • Measurement of losses Fiber optic cables: making joints and connecting connectors

Being at least 18 years old and having completed the 9th grade.
