WAMA follows European trends
WAMA Solutions extended its area of action to the external aspect of installing the latest generation fixed networks, in the scope of telecommunications.
Optical fiber is growing in Portugal! According to data from ANACOM, at the end of 2019, more than half of fixed broadband Internet accesses were made through optical fiber (FTTH), about 3.97 million accesses, which represents an increase of 5.4% compared to the previous year.
Portugal leads in European fiber optic coverage in rural areas. The European body Council Europe carried out a study of fiber optic coverage in rural areas and found that Portugal is above the European average, with 53% of houses in rural areas with coverage.
Spain ranks second in this study with 42%, followed by Sweden with 38%. Countries such as the United Kingdom or Germany have only 7.5% and 6% coverage, respectively.
Following this trend, WAMA Solutions extended its area of action to the external aspect of installing the latest generation fixed networks, in the scope of telecommunications. We offer complete installation and maintenance services in communications infrastructure for telecommunications networks, whether for industrial, commercial or private customers.
